IMS acquires Space Analysis System Business
New York, NY - IMS, the leading supplier of Web-based competitive ad-tracking, reader service, trade-show tracking and other Web services to the magazine industry in North America , announced today that IMS has acquired the account base of Space Analysis Systems.
Martin Hochstein, President of IMS, stated, "The Space Analysis System account base fits perfectly with our own and allows us to realize two objectives. Some of their magazine clients are in markets we do not, at present, monitor. This acquisition will give us access to these new markets. Some of their other clients are in markets we do presently serve. This will allow us to benefit from economy of scale that will result in an even better competitive pricing position for our company then now exists. Most significantly, this will give our clients an even wider market perspective than the 2,500+ publications across over 200 markets that now makes up our database of advertising information."
